He was an officer of OPM-TPN SONEK Battalion under the Command of late Marthen Prawar. He was killed in action in Biak-West Papua.

He was a fearsome sniper, he was also known for his courage and relentlessness. I am sure some members of Sonek Battalion can still tell stories about his relentless TNI-kills.

In Numfor-Biak we call people like him MAMBRI (a Warrior).
